We Build Austin Homes From Factory Gate to Front Door

Catalyst ATX is a residential development and construction company. We manufacture modular homes in our factory, transport them across Central Texas, and set them by crane on foundations we develop ourselves, alongside infill communities and ground up residential construction.

What We Do

Development, Construction, and Delivery, All In House

From land acquisition through permitting and final closeout, every phase is handled by our own team. One company, one schedule, one standard.

Land Acquisition & Development

We source lots and infill sites across Central Texas, carry them through feasibility, entitlement, and permitting, and develop the foundations our homes are set on.

Modular Manufacturing

Our homes are built in a factory under controlled conditions, which means tighter quality, less waste, and a build schedule that runs in parallel with site work.

Transport & Crane Set

Route surveys, oversize permits, staging plans, and engineered lifts. Our crews move modules across Central Texas and set them by crane, typically weather-tight in a single day.

Site Work, Foundations & Button-Up

Clearing, grading, utilities, and engineered foundations, then seam work, MEP connections, decks, and stairs after the set. We carry every home through final inspection.

Infill Communities

Beyond single lots, we develop and build infill communities, sequencing multiple homes through the factory and the field on one coordinated schedule.

Ground Up Construction

Not every project ships on a trailer. We also build conventional ground up residential projects with the same schedule discipline as our modular work.

How We Build

Five Phases. One Team. Zero Handoff Gaps.

Modular construction succeeds or fails in the handoffs between the factory and the field. Because we own both sides, there are none.

1

Land & Feasibility

We source the site, verify access and utilities, and carry it through entitlement and permitting with clear numbers behind every decision.

2

Site Work & Foundation

Pad, utilities, and foundation built to spec while the home is on our factory line, so the two schedules run in parallel.

3

Factory Build & Transport

The home comes off the line and moves on permitted routes with escorts and a staging plan measured to the foot, arriving in set order.

4

Crane Set

An engineered lift plan and certified crew set the modules precisely. Most homes are weather-tight by the end of the day.

5

Button-Up & Closeout

Seams finished, systems connected, inspections passed. Every home is carried through final closeout and delivered ready to live in.

Why Catalyst ATX

One Company, Start to Keys

Most builds pass through a chain of separate companies. Ours pass through one. That changes the speed, the quality, and the experience.

Speed

Factory and Field, In Parallel

  • Site work and foundations progress while the home is built on our factory line
  • Modules set by crane and weather-tight in a day, not framed over months
  • Compressed timelines that get homes finished and occupied sooner
  • A full pipeline of signed work keeps our crews sharp and our schedule proven
Control

Everything Under One Roof

  • Land acquisition, permitting, manufacturing, transport, set, and finish, all our own team
  • No handoff gaps between separate companies, and no finger pointing when issues come up
  • Factory conditions mean tighter quality control than open air framing
  • One accountable point of contact from the first survey to the keys
Track Record

Building in Austin Since 2016

  • Over $100M in projects delivered across Central Texas

Austin, TX Full-Time $95K to $125K Base + Bonus (Up to $165K/Year)

The Construction Manager leads all field operations from site development through project completion. You'll manage multiple active residential projects at once, with authority over subcontractors, scheduling, and trade sequencing, including the crane operations, transport logistics, and module set days that come with modular construction. We're looking for someone with field experience: a leader who has physically built, understands how projects come together, and earns the respect of subcontractors because of it.

What to Expect

Construction isn't a 40 hour a week industry, and some seasons require long hours and flexibility. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of outcomes, manages budgets carefully, and wants to grow with the company long term. This role reports directly to ownership, not through layers of management.
